Robb Myer

CEO

Robb is a seasoned product and program management executive with over eight years experience in business to business, technology-focused companies. Robb most recently served as Director of Solutions Management at EBDS, a subsidiary of Highmark BCBS. At EBDS, Robb developed the first small group focused Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) for Highmark. This product quickly became the fastest growing and highest margin product for EBDS. Robb further created the Solutions Management Department at EBDS, an executive-level role which focused on product management. Robb is well versed in process improvement, having achieved the LEAN 6 Sigma Green Belt.

Robb holds a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.

James Belt

Director, Software Information Architecture

James is a highly-skilled programmer with over 10 years experience in software development. His background covers a broad range of technologies ranging from cellular data networks to control systems for nuclear power plants. James has served as the system architect and lead engineer on a variety of successful projects, and he is experienced in all phases of software development.

Most recently, James developed embedded software for medical devices as a senior engineer with Philips-Respironics. Prior to Philips, James worked for such firms as Hewlett-Packard and Westinghouse. At HP, James joined the Enterprise Storage Division where he developed web-based enterprise management applications for network storage systems.

James holds a BS in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University.

Richard Colvin

Director, Software Engineering

Richard has seven years of development experience in the video game industry, most recently with SilverTree Media (Pittsburgh, PA). As a senior producer & designer, Richard developed game systems and user interfaces for Disney’s Pixie Hollow Online Virtual World along with other client projects, including an unannounced iPhone game.

Before SilverTree, Richard worked as a game designer with Electronic Arts (EA) (Redwood Shores, CA) on such projects as Earth & Beyond and two Ultima Online expansions.

Richard holds a Master of Entertainment Technology degree (MET) from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

Luke Panza

Director, Marketing

Luke comes from a varied background and brings experience from the Restaurant industry as well as CPG Marketing. Within the restaurant industry, Luke has 3 years of experience across 7 restaurants in the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia markets. Luke has most recently focused on FOH service and management.

Luke's marketing background includes 5 years with Ferrero, Inc., an Italian global confectioner and producer of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Stationed in American and European Offices, Luke’s primary focus was New Product Development where he coordinated the strategic research and development of various international brands.

Luke holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Sean Ammirati is an entrepreneur with experience building business both in the media and software industries. In December 2011, recognizing the influential and strong business, the company was acquired by SAY Media.

Prior to ReadWriteWeb, Sean was Co-founder and CEO of mSpoke which was the first acquisition of LinkedIn.

Sean remains an active advisor to a number of Pittsburgh startups and an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University.

David Ambrose

David leads mobile product and development at Travelzoo (NASDAQ: TZOO).

Previously, he founded Scoop St., a local commerce company that revolutionized the way we shop by leveraging the power of group buying online for small businesses and consumers. Featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and CNN amongst others, Scoop St. is recognized as one of the earliest pioneers in the group buying market. Scoop St. was acquired in August 2011.

David received his AB with Honors from Georgetown University, lives in New York City, and co-organizes Hackers & Founders - a monthly gathering of programmers and founders who "just ship" in the metro area.
